We get asked lots of questions on our ingredients, so we thought we would write a post to give you all an understanding of what we use and why.
Jojoba Oil - this oil is thicker than most oils because it is actually a liquid plant wax. Jojoba oil is extremely close to our skin's natural oil that we wash away when bathing. Jojoba oil helps our Beard oil absorb into your skin and hair rapidly.
Grapeseed Oil - this oil contains high levels of Vitamin E, which helps strengthen your beard hair. Grapeseed oil is also very moisturizing.
Hemp Oil - is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins, and protein. It’s good for conditioning hair and skin and helps the skin retain moisture.
Vitamin E Oil - contains antioxidants and can stimulate blood circulation (which is good for all parts of your body). It is said that Vitamin E can help prevent premature ‘greying’ and can repair split ends. It also adds shine to hair.
Sweet Almond Oil - this oil is also a great source of Vitamin E, D as well as calcium, potassium, and magnesium. It is used to treat split ends and reduce frizzy hair, making it a perfect part of our blend.
Shea Butter - like the oils, Shea Butter is also rich in vitamins and minerals. It helps with dry, itchy, flaky skin. It also is useful in cold weather to relieve chapped skin and wind burn.
Cocoa Butter - helps reduce hair breakage and increases the manageability of your beard. This is one of the ingredients that really helps our beard balm make your beard "lay down". It also coats the hair which adds volume.
Beeswax - is perfect to keep those stray whiskers in check. Simply comb, pat or smooth the hair to shape. It is rich in Vitamin A and has fantastic emollient properties that help in promoting cells to develop healthily.
We have a new product launch.....*DRUM ROLL* Wonder Balm!
Its the first product we have produced thats not for Beards!
This is specifically for minor skin conditions, especially great for our hands in these conditions where we are constantly washing with soaps and washes that don’t do our hands any favours.
A very popular question that I often get is, “What is the difference between beard balm and beard oil?”
You’ll notice that most beard companies offer both. So, do you need both of them? And, what makes them an important piece in your grooming kit?
